All our staff are trained in the skills required to deliver long-term ventilation support by carrying out procedures including tracheostomy care, tracheostomy changes, Ambu bagging, chest percussion, tracheal suction and oxygen therapy.
Alongside ventilation and client-specific training, the client’s bespoke care plan ensures that care staff – who are supervised and supported by our clinical nurse specialists – fully understand the client’s condition, needs, preferences and wishes about the way they live their life.
